Craighead County Sheriff’s Office Announces Success Of Operation Spring Cleaning

It’s been a busy week, but Operation Spring Cleaning was a huge success. This was a joint operation with agencies from across the 2nd Judicial District, to saturate, locate, and arrest felony offenders in Craighead County. This yielded a total of 124 arrests and the removal of 216g of methamphetamine, 128g of cocaine, 463g of marijuana, 110 dosage units of ecstasy, and an array of drug paraphernalia and firearms.
From planning to execution this operation has taken approximately 5 months to be brought to fruition, and that’s due to the tireless work and effort put forth by all officers and departments involved.
