According to the Cherokee Village Suburban Improvement District damage was caused by vandals on the South Course.
The vandals apparently drove vehicles onto the course cutting ruts on the greens in several areas.
Authorities have been notified and an investigation has been opened into the matter, the CVSID stated that the damage was estimated in the thousands of dollars.
