The Florence Nightingale Scholarship has been awarded to Karmyn Gray of Walnut Ridge for the Spring 2022 semester.
Gray is a 2017 graduate of Sloan-Hendrix High School and is the daughter of Chad and Jennifer Gray of Cherokee Village and Frank and Brandy Binkley of Walnut Ridge. She is currently seeking a nursing degree from BRTC.
The Florence Nightingale Scholarship is provided by the BRTC Nursing Faculty and Staff to a 2nd semester nursing student.

Black River Technical College is a 2-year community college in Pocahontas and Paragould which offers associates degrees and certificates in general education and technical and career education. The College houses one of the state’s law enforcement training academies and fire science academies. BRTC has 2,500 full- and part-time students.
