On Wednesday Stone County Sheriff’s Deputies along with officers from 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Mountain View Police Department, and the Arkansas Department of Corrections North Central K-9 Unit went to a Ticer Lane residence in the town of Fox to execute a search warrant and federal arrest warrant for Richard Joe Lee, age 36.
Authorities were informed Richard Joe Lee had been staying at the residence and that the home’s owner had numerous firearms instead the residence
Lee was wanted by the U. S. Marshals Service for violating conditions of federal probation and by Johnson County officials for probation violations and absconding.
Authorities called for Lee to surrender, Lee allegedly refused and then barricaded himself in the residence.
Lee gave up after five hours of negotiation and surrendered to authorities.
Lee was placed in custody by the United States Marshals Service and taken to a holding facility.
