Evening Shade Police Department arrested a suspect on Felony drug charges according to court records.

Officers observed Christopher Davis, age 39, operating a vehicle on US 167 in Evening Shade. Davis had a suspended driver’s license and active warrants. 

The officer then conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Trailblazer registered to Davis.

Once the vehicle turned onto Simstown road outside of Evening Shade, Davis allegedly threw a plastic baggie out of the driver’s side window, the driver then threw a dark-colored object out of the driver’s window. 

Christina Orosz, was a passenger in the vehicle according to the report.

The two items thrown from the vehicle were identified as a set of digital scales and a plastic bag containing methamphetamine. 

A search of Orosz, the passenger, revealed an additional ½ gram of methamphetamine and a glass pipe with residue. 

The search of the vehicle yielded a used syringe in the driver-side door. 

Davis was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver, felony use or possession of paraphernalia to manufacture methamphetamine or cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony tampering with physical evidence. 

Davis’s bond was set at $15,000 bond. 

Orosz was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. 

Orosz was released on her own recognizance according to authorities.
