According to the Arkansas State Police a Trumann man died Thursday night when the wheel from a another vehicle cane off and crashed through his windshield.
The incident occurred at 9:43 p.m. Dec. 2nd on Interstate 630 East in Little Rock.
ASP reports that Matthew Boswell, age 30, of Trumann was eastbound when the rear driver’s side wheel flew off of a westbound 2021 Dodge Ram. According to the ASP preliminary fatal crash report, the wheel went over a concrete barrier and struck Boswell’s windshield, killing him.
Boswell’s 2013 Hyundai came to a stop in the lane of traffic. An 2014 Chevrolet traveling East was unable to stop and collided with Boswell’s car.
Arkansas State Police did not identify the other drivers and no other injuries were reported.
