Lawrence County Deputies responded shortly before 6pm on Wednesday evening to a suspicious male in a pickup truck near the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Annieville after Lawrence County Dispatch received several calls reporting the man. Deputies arrived and found that subject had left the area supposedly headed back towards Imboden in a mid-90’s Chevy truck with Missouri plates.

As Deputies from Lawrence County searched the Imboden area for the vehicle they spotted it by the Spring River access. When law enforcement attempted to stop the vehicle it fled the area. Witnesses stated the vehicle was occupied by a male driver and female passenger. As the vehicle fled the area of the access it stopped and let the female out on 4th street before leaving town.

The truck was later discovered damaged and abandoned in Hardy at the Civic Center, the suspect then stole a second vehicle described by Hardy Police as a 2001 Nissan Frontier 4-door, Black in color.

The first vehicle was discovered to be stolen from the Doniphan Missouri area, authorities released photos of the suspect.

The unidentified suspect is also wanted in connection with the theft of a 2017 Honda 4-wheeler that was stolen out of Randolph County and dumped in Annieville. Deputies discovered the stolen 4-wheeler while searching for the suspect. The stolen atv was impounded and taken to Dail’s Wrecker Service.

Hardy Police put out a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for the stolen Nissan and released surveillance photos obtained from Doniphan Police.

The female passenger was not identified due to fact that she is a minor, the name of the suspect has not been released at this time.

The suspect was said to be armed and possibly headed back to Missouri.
