At 11:40 am on Saturday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a report of a young child injured in an ATV accident on private property.
The child was being transported by private vehicle and met ProMed ambulance in Black Rock.
Medics requested a medical helicopter from Survival Flight to transport the injured child to an area hospital.
Black Rock Police and Black Rock Fire Department set up a landing zone at the old Cavenaugh parking lot on Hwy 63 in Black Rock.
The child was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
