According to the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, two registered sex offenders have been arrested after they failed to comply with their sentencing orders.
Authorities attempted to do a home visit on Mark Benford, age 55 and discovered that he was not living at his registered address. Around Nov. 3, the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections classified Benford as “absconded†as he had avoided all contact with the department since early October. Benford was located and arrested, his bond was set at $10,000.00
Chad Langston, age 36, a level 1 sex offender, was also found to be delinquent with his residence verification.
Langston was arrested for his violation and his bond was set at $10,000.00
