On October 3rd the Izard County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an apartment complex in Calico Rock after a resident returned home and found a stranger sitting on the couch.

According to the affidavit the apartment resident noticed that the apartment had been disorganized, and the male subject had a knife.

The tenant then told the male to leave the apartment, which he did but went to the back door of another apartment, which the owner stated she heard banging.

Investigators stated the man had stolen nothing from the victims home, but did leave strange handwritten notes on her coffee table, driven knives into several walls inside the apartment, ate food inside the home, and hung multiple stuffed animals from the ceiling fans.

The report stated one of the bizarre notes read “if only I had one, thanx for not Being there tonight, I need some alone time, I’m with tesla or me Casa must say look for Luke for work or else”.

The suspect was identified by authorities as 34-year-old Luke Dennis and was on probation.

Dennis was arrested and charged with felony residential burglary and criminal mischief.
His bond was set at $20,000.

Luke Dennis has an extensive background with numerous convictions for drug, assault, trespassing and resisting arrest.
