A Jonesboro man identified by authorities as Timothy Lee Morgan, age 59, was arrested Wednesday after police say he approached two Arkansas State students saying he wanted to speak to an officer because he had previously been arrested once on campus and if he did not speak to an officer he was going to blow up the school, according to authorities.

Students contacted University Police and the suspect was arrested in the Student Union building.

Morgan was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and suspicion of communicating a false alarm.

Morgan has an October circuit court date but could have his case assigned to a mental health court according to the affidavit.
