Macy Jo Jines, Age 21, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday morning, September 22nd, 2021 in Hoxie, Arkansas from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Macy was born on August 21st, 2000, in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Wendall Jines and Sonya Endres. Macy was loved by many people for being a caring, outgoing, and charismatic girl, who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed hunting, going to the beach, art, her iced coffee from Shadrach’s, and old country music. She was a 2018 graduate of Highland High School, a student at Arkansas State University – Jonesboro, a member of the Omicron Zeta chapter of Chi Omega Sorority and worked at Econo-med Pharmacy.
Macy is survived by her parents, Wendall and Amber Jines; Siblings Ashley (Daniel) McCormick of Diaz, Arkansas, Marly (Eutah) Russell of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Weston Jines, Lexie Bengtson, and Emily Jines; Paternal grandparents Linda and Bill Nixon; Maternal grandparents Roland and Lynette Endress; as well as many other friends and family.
Macy is preceded in death by her mother, Sonya.
A visitation service will be held on Friday, September 24th, at the First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 25th at the A.L. Hutson Memorial Center in Highland, Arkansas at 2:00 P.M.
In honor of Macy, Cowboy boots and cowboy hats are highly encouraged by the family to be worn during the memorial services.
