A Fulton County man identified as Jeremy Joseph Stone, age 42 was arrested for an incident reported in July.
On July 8, 2021 the victim reported that Stone allegedly had sexual intercourse with her “by force†according to investigators.
The victim alleged Stone had done this on more than one occasion going back to 2020.
Stone was interviewed by Arkansas State Police Crime Against Children Division and advised of his rights. The suspect agreed to speak to the investigators saying the victim would “flirt with him sitting in his lap†according to the affidavit.
Stone also made claims the victim had contacted him requesting for sex.
Stone denied ever having intercourse with the victim, but admitted he engaged in skin to skin contact on numerous occasions.
Stone was charged with sexual assault 2nd degree, a class B felony. His bond was set at $5,000 by Circuit Court Judge Larry Kissee.
