2843 new COVID-19 cases were added to the ADH dashboard today. Governor Asa Hutchison said in his address today that this marks one of largest days of new cases in AR since the beginning of the pandemic. This is very concerning as hospitalizations will inevitably rise.Â

The percent of hospitalized Covid patients is up significantly from this time last year.
Governor Hutchison is once again declaring a statewide public health emergency and is calling a special session to lift a prohibition on local mask requirements for school children.
