Authorities say a Mountain Home man was arrested for taking drugs from the victim’s home, which he was working at.

Kevin Willis age 43 of Mountain Home was charged with felony obtaining a controlled substance by fraudulent practices, along with misdemeanor charges for theft of property, and misdemeanor possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance.

The suspect was working at a residence in February when the victim noticed 90 Xanax tablets missing and told the company that Willis worked for.

The employer confronted Willis who claimed Willis claimed he only stole 2 of the pills.

Criminal charges were filed in March, but Willis could not be found.

Willis was arrested after a traffic stop on Friday when he was found to be a passenger in the vehicle.

Willis is currently in the Baxter County Detention Center being held on a $10,000 bond.
