David Samuel Raymond, age 34 of Jonesboro has been arrested after a woman reported to investigators that he tied her to a bed and raped her.
Raymond allegedly also used a torch to heat up a metal coat hanger and burn the woman’s lower back and private parts according to court affidavits.
Raymond was charged with rape and aggravated assault, authorities also stated that Raymond faces a charge of terroristic threatening after he allegedly threatened the victim and two others with a baseball bat and rammed their vehicle with his car.
Raymond was being held in the Craighead County jail on a $1 million dollar bond with a court date set for Aug. 27th.
