Jacoby Auston Goehler , age 20 of Salem is facing additional charges for attempting to escape the Fulton County Jail according to reports.
Goehler is charged with a first-degree attempted escape and eight counts of possession of weapons by an incarcerated person say authorities.
Goehler was arrested and charged with murdering David Standbyry, age 19 of Salem.
Fulton County jail personal were informed that he was planning his escape. A search of the barracks revealed Goehler had broken vent in the bathroom of his barrack and was making weapons.
While searching his area, authorities stated they found 8 1.5-inch by 8.75-inch metal pieces, six small metal pieces, and a blanket torn into strips according to reports.
