Dorothy Hawk Woodson Keller, 85, of Pocahontas, departed this life July 1, 2021 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center.

She was born February 24, 1936 to the late Clifford and Pearl (Headley) Hawk. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church of Imboden, AR for many years where she ministered to children, youth and young adults and was a member of the choir. Dorothy was first lady of Imboden while her husband Marvin Woodson served as mayor, and Dorothy was as an active participant of many Sloan-Hendrix activities while her children were students. Dorothy began her working career as a beautician in Memphis, TN and later practiced in Walnut Ridge, AR. After raising her three children, Dorothy became owner and operator of the Lime Tree Inn restaurant in Mena, AR, and worked as hostess at the Capital Bar and Grill in Little Rock, AR before retirement. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Clifford and Pearl (Headley) Hawk of Clover Bend, AR, her brother Robert Hawk of Russellville, AR and her sister Kathy Belew of Portia, AR. 

She leaves behind three children: Gary Clifford Woodson and his wife Liz of Wagoner, OK; Carla Renee Crawford and her husband Chris of Mena, AR; and Robbie Suzanne Eagan and her husband Richard of Black Rock, AR; seven grandchildren: Joshua Young and his wife Leah of Jonesboro, AR; Magan Phillips Eagan of Black Rock AR; Kendra Cooper and her husband James of Paragould, AR; Joshua Woodson of Nashville, TN; Nathaniel Woodson of Wagoner, OK; Jacob Woodson of Tahlequah, OK and Mary Caroline Woodson of Lubbock TX; six great-grandchildren: Dexter Phillips of Black Rock, AR; Avery, Cohen and Finley Young of Jonesboro, AR; Willow, Rollon and Oden Cooper of Paragould, AR; and ten nephews and nineteen nieces. 

Dorothy was the second of eleven siblings, eight of which survive: Cliffene Moore of Smyrna, TN; Linda Gipson of Paragould, AR; Norma Tharp of Hendersonville, TN; Nina Hawk of Nashville, TN; Helen Hawk of Hendersonville TN; Dennis Hawk of Kissimmee FL; Mike Hawk of Apache Junction, AZ; and Rick Hawk of Greenville, GA. 

A funeral service for Dorothy Woodson Keller will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Gary Woodson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery at Black Rock. 

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Joshua Woodson, Richard Eagan, Ashley Eagan, Jacob Woodson, Nathaniel Woodson, and Joshua Young.
