The Independence County Sheriff’s Office has released the identification of two bodies found in Ramsey Slough in Independence County on Sunday.
The male victim has been identified as Clifford Timbs, age 50, and the female victim as Pamela Brooks, age 50. Both individuals resided together according to the Sheriff.
The cause of death is still pending. The next of kin has been notified.
Independence County Sheriff’s Office stated in a release Sunday that the Independence County Sheriff’s Department and Arkansas Game and Fish officers responded to Ramsey Slough for two bodies in the water close to a boat.
The victims, a male and a female, were recovered from the water with a boat.
The bodies have been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.
