Morgan Olivia Hampton, 17, of Biggers, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, at St. Bernard’s Five Rivers Medical Center.  

Morgan was born April 27, 2004, in Jonesboro, AR to Jason and Shauntae Hart Hampton. She was a junior at Pocahontas High School and loved by all.  

Morgan Olivia was a beautiful young lady with a heart of gold. She loved helping others and was a wonderful friend to all. She had a spunky personality and lit up every room she entered. She was an animal lover and loved taking photos of animals and nature. She loved all music and would sing along to every song she knew. Summer was her favorite season. She loved spending summers on Current River with her family and friends and taking boat rides. She also enjoyed annual family vacations to Orange Beach. Morgan loved the outdoors and especially loved to go fishing with her Daddy. She loved the holidays and enjoyed watching Christmas movies with her Mom and cooking holiday meals with her Granna. She also loved watching scary movies with her brother and friends. Morgan loved to go shopping especially if others were paying. She loved to go to yard sales with her Granny to find a bargain. Morgan enjoyed spending most of her time with her boyfriend Matt and her best friend Allison. Over the last few months, Morgan developed a strong relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved to share her faith with all of her family and friends. Morgan Olivia will be missed but never forgotten. 

Morgan was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Loyd Godwin and Dorthy Godwin, paternal great grandparents John (Junior) and Retha Hart, paternal great grandpa James (Cicero) Jones, paternal great grandmother Patricia Hubbard; great uncles John David Hart and Bobby Street; cousin Frankie Hampton; best friend Ethan Dorris.  

She is survived by her parents, Jason, and Shauntae Hart Hampton of Biggers; brother Colby Hampton of the home; maternal grandparents Larry and Rhonda Hart of Biggers, paternal grandparents Darrel and Kathy Hampton of Biggers; aunts Phyllis (Sam) Fluke, Rethalee (Brody) Morrow, Shawna (Alex) Lynch; cousins Nathan Morrow, Natalee Morrow, Breanna Fluke, Bayleigh Fluke, Leo Lynch, August Lynch, Violet Lynch; great grandmother Shelby Jones, many, many friends, great uncles, great aunts and family; best friend Allison Hampton and boyfriend Matt Bell.  

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 5-8 PM in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 2 PM with Jed Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Hite Cemetery.  

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Brody Morrow, Joe Moore, Colby Hampton, Matt Bell, Alex Stowers and Joseph Phelps.
