Mark “Diz” Alan Davis, 57, of Bono, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home. He had lived most of his life in Bono and was of the Methodist belief.  Diz loved many things, and when he loved something, he gave it his all.  His Harley Davidson Motorcycle was his pride and joy.  He was a member of the Fugarwe Motorcycle Club and devoted many hours helping with the club’s activities.  He considered himself a grill master using his pellet grill and he loved to cook and show off his culinary skills.  Time spent in the woods, or a favorite fishing hole was always enjoyed.  Spending time with his family and friends was high on his list.  His chosen profession was people. He would do anything he could to help his family or friends, or persons in his community.  He worked as a paramedic at Medic 1 for many years providing comfort and care for his patients.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer “Diz” Davis.

Survivors include his sons, Brody Davis and wife Niki; Logan Davis and wife Shelby, all of Bono; Grant Davis of Paragould; daughters, Ashley Gadberry and husband Trey of Briggsville, Arkansas; Chaney Davis of Jonesboro; sister, Paula Grimes and husband Terry of Brookland; grandchildren, Brianna, Hannah, Christian, Hunter, Alan, Chloe, Atley, WhitLynn and Silas; and one nephew and one niece. 

Funeral service will be 10:00 Saturday morning, March 6, 2021, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with J. R. Davis officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with Brody Davis, Logan Davis, Grant Davis, Nate Edge, Brandon “Maxwell” Maxwell; Trey Gadberry and Hunter Grimes serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are his brothers of Fugarwe Tribe; Fellow employees of Medic 1 Ambulance, and his host of friends in the EMS community.  Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time.
