Susan Gail Clark 65, of Smithville, died on February 23, 2021 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. 

Born July 1, 1955 in Walnut Ridge; daughter of Howard and Dolores Roush Duckworth. Susan was united in marriage to Richard Clark on June 15, 1974. She worked as a Teachers aid in West Memphis, Dental office, and Greenhouse assistant. She was a member of the Imboden Church of Christ and had served as a Secretary for the Arkansas Extension Homemakers Council. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. 

Preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Duckworth, and a daughter, Laura Clark. 

Survivors include her husband, Richard of the home; one daughter, Lacie Pharis of Salem; four grandchildren, Ashley (Sam) Pope, Haley Pharis all of Mountain Home, Charles and Douglas Pharis both of Salem; one great grandson, Hudson Pope of Mountain Home; her father, Howard Duckworth of Smithville; one brother, David Hackler of Royse City, TX; two sisters, Kathy Sims of West Memphis, and Donna (Tony) Cable of Paragould; along with many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. 

Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Imboden Church of Christ, with Dale Choate officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock. 

Visitation Friday from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie.
