Reserve Officer Training Class 2021

The Pocahontas Police Department will be offering a Reserve Officer Training Class within the next 90 days. Interested applicants must be at least 21 years of age, must have a High School Diploma or GED, have a good driving record, and have no felony or domestic battery record. Applicants will be subject to an agency background check. The class is 110 hours whichincludes online and some hands on training.

To request an application, call 870-892-9867. Applications will be emailed or mailed to the applicant. Applicants who are interviewed and selected for the class will be responsible for all expenses (including, but not limited to, medical exam, psychological exam, and equipment) required for the class.  The class and training are free. For more information, please call the Department at 870-892-9867.
