On August 13th, agents with DTF-North, along with detectives from the Pocahontas Police Department and inspectors with the United States Postal Inspection Service, used information received from a federal indictment arrest in Pocahontas earlier in the week to intercept a large quantity of methamphetamine attempting to be delivered to an address in the City of Paragould. Agents participated in a controlled delivery to the address. Shortly after, they made contact with two individuals in the home that disclosed they were aware of the contents of the package: 121.5 grams of methamphetamine. Two individuals were arrested and booked into the Greene County Detention Center for charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver 10g-200g, a Class A Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Due to the use of the United States Postal Service, federal charges could also stem from this arrest.
