Hunter Midkiff, the Piggott High School junior who suffered a heat stroke during football practice earlier this week has passed away according to family.
Hunter age 16, was taken to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital on Monday after suffering a heat stroke during football practice. He was listed as critical, and placed into a drug-induced coma says family.
By Tuesday Hunter’s condition was worsening, according to family he was experiencing levels of kidney and liver failure.
Hunter’s family announced the sad news on Saturday morning that he had passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with friends and family at this time.
