Governor Hutchinson announced this today during his daily briefing. The governor also announced another 787 new cases bringing the total cumulative case count to 40,968 since March. An additional 6 deaths were reported bringing the total deaths to 434 statewide.
Hospitalized patients increased by 7 to 508 patients. Those on ventilators increased by 2 to 108 patients.
Craighead County along with Sebastian, Chicot, Washington, Pulaski, Benton, Mississippi and Little River were the top counties with more than 20 cases reported over the last 24 hours.
750 recoveries were reported over the last 24 hours bringing the total recoveries to 33,938.
Of the active cases, 80 are in nursing facilities, 342 are in correctional facilities and 6174 are in the community.
The state’s cumulative positive rate has increased to 8.2% .
