POCAHONTAS, AR Apr. 29 — Black River Technical College administration is pleased to announce that Spring 2020 commencement ceremonies have been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 11 at 6:30. The ceremony will be held at the Randolph County Development Center on BRTC’s Pocahontas campus.
Spring commencement was to take place later this month, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony had to be rescheduled. BRTC invites any BRTC student who was slated to walk in May to walk at the special ceremony in August. For students who are unable to attend the August ceremony, they are invited to attend the December 2020 commencement.

Black River Technical College is a 2-year community college in Pocahontas and Paragould, which offers associates degrees and certificates in general education and technical and career education. The College houses one of the state’s law enforcement training academies (LETA) and fire science academies. BRTC has 2,500 full- and part-time students.
