Edward Ira “Eggie†Tedder, 74, of Walnut Ridge passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 while turkey hunting near Mountain Home.Â
Eggie was born September 20, 1945 in Light to the late Mack and Flossie Greer Tedder. He was married to Winnie Ellis on November 25, 1966 and they were blessed with 53 years of marriage.
Eggie was an avid hunter and fisherman, former owner of Hoxie Lumber Company and Square Post Buildings, and a member of Walnut Ridge First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Flossie Tedder; and by five siblings, M.C. Tedder, Bill Tedder, Mark Creel, Shirley McCord, and Jerry Wayne Tedder.
Eggie is survived by his loving wife, Winnie Tedder; two daughters, Rhonda (Paul) Forrester of Hoxie and Jennifer (Brent) Williams of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Jackson Ellis Forrester, Taylor Brooke Forrester, Hadley Caroline Williams, and Elyse Jordan Williams; seven siblings, Shelby (Joe) Faulkner of Paragould, Jim (Earlene) Tedder of Light, Bob (Valene) Tedder of Mountain Home, Yevonne Mangrum of Paragould, Lurlene (John) Hambrick of Paragould, Linda Yocum of Jonesboro, and Brenda (Burton) Cannon of Jonesbo; one brother-in-law, Harvey McCord of Paragould, several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
A drive through visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 from 12 PM – 1:30 PM at Walnut Ridge First Baptist Church. You are asked to please enter the procession from Pine Street. A private graveside service will follow the visitation under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
