Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Arkansas…..197
Lawrence County was added today to the confirmed list of counties with COVID-19 cases. The COVID-19 case is confirmed to the within the town of Black Rock. Lawrence County Judge John Thomison and Black Rock Mayor Bonnie Ragsdale have both publicly announced the confirmed case in Lawrence County is in Black Rock today. The patient is said to be in self quarantine at this time.
ADH also announced the all beauty shops, barbers, cosmetology, nail salons, tattoo parlors and massage therapists will be required to cease operation in the state tomorrow.
Goveror Hutchison announced that the individuals filing date for taxes is extended to July 15th (the same as federal). Corporate filing dates will remain the same.
According to the ADH five of the confirmed COVID-19 individuals within the state have recovered from their illness at this time. Nine of the current positive individuals are hospitalized with six of these being on a ventilator. 38 of the positive cases are nursing home residents.
