James Darris, 74 of Black Rock, died Monday February 3, 2020 at his residence.
He was born April 03, 1945 in Powhatan, AR to Henry Dorris & Zelma Neece Darris. He was a loving husband and father. He was commercial fisherman. He attended Faith of the Apostles church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty (Paul) Berry, Pauline (William “Dub”) Wilson, Yvonne (John) Higginbotham, Henrietta (Jack) Twilla; and brother, Jerry Wayne Darris.
James is survived by daughter, Martha Ann (Steven “Bob”) Hopkins; sisters, Judy Reynolds, Cathryn Ferguson, & Peggy Haley; brother, Bobby Darris; and many nephews, nieces, & friends.
Visitation is Thursday February 6, 2020 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services are 2:00PM Friday February 7, 2020 at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Matt Morse officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
