She was the oldest of five children, and grew up in Indiana, California, and Michigan before moving to Arkansas and marrying the love of her life. Kathi married Britt Conrad outdoors next to a creek on a warm summer day, July 4th, 1985, in Imboden, Arkansas. She was also a sensitive, caring soul, always ready to help others in need. Kathi was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 25th, 2015, and regarded that as one of the happiest days of her life.

Benson Sr. of Niles Michigan, her mother in law, Eunice Conrad of Ravenden, Arkansas, her father in law, Jim Conrad of Memphis, Tennessee, her younger sister, Lori A.
