Walnut Ridge Police identified Christopher McDole as the victim in an atv crash on Hwy 412 near Walnut Ridge but stated they believe happened overnight.
According to reports, an atv was spotted in a ditch along Hwy 412 and reported to WRPD. The person reporting this to WRPD officers also stated that it appeared someone was under the four wheeler. Upon arriving police found McDole under the wreckage deceased. The Lawrence County Coroner was called to the scene.
Police described the ditch as being deep and stated it appeared the victim had been there overnight. Family has been notified.
