It’s that time of year again for the annual Clover Bend School Reunion on Memorial Day Weekend. This year, we will add the graduating class of 1969 to the 50 year club and will be celebrating them with good food, great music, and even better fellowship. Beans and cornbread will be served the evening of Friday, May 24th, as well as the live auction to raise money for the school. The live auction will be led by Clover Bend’s very own, Frog Light. The celebration, honoring ceremony, and lunch will take place on Saturday, May 25th and will kick off with the ringing of the Alice French bell. Providing our musical entertainment will be Walnut Ridge native and Nashville recording artist, Lauren Richmond.
We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate with us. Tour the Clover Bend Historic Buildings to see artifacts that can only be found here and test your skills in the gym that once held many basketball games. Lunch on the 25th will be smoked pork steaks and all the fixings, cooked by the Clover Bend Volunteer Fire Department. Also, the documentary on Clover Bend and some of its oldest residents will be played during the celebration ceremony.
