All applicants are required to have participated in the Lawrence County Fair to be considered. To be eligible they must have entered or participated in a fair activity in three of the last five years.
The Lawrence County Fair Cookie Jar Decorating Contest funds the scholarship. The cookie jars are auctioned during the fair, and all proceeds will go to the fair scholarship fund.
