At 7:42 am on Wednesday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting 2 injured in the American Silica Plant outside Black Rock.

According to reports, while pouring concrete at the facility some type of concrete form collapsed injuring two. One victim was said to have a broken leg and the second had a back injury. Ambulances from both AET and ProMed responded along with the Black Rock Fire Department.

Units were clear from the scene at 8:26 am. The names of the injured have not been released.
