Recently retired assistant chief John Stoll of the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department was awarded a plaque and statue for his years of service , the statue was from the City of Ravenden and the plaque was awarded by the firemen of the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department for his 42 years of service. Fire chief Butch Dail presented Stoll with the awards during the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department‘s annual fund raiser.
Saturday’s fundraiser netted over $9700 to be used for the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department.
