Williams Baptist College will host a free photography workshop on Monday, Feb. 5, at 6 p.m.
Bill Jeffery, an admissions counselor at Williams with extensive experience in the field of photography, will lead the workshop. Jeffery will focus on covering the different elements necessary to take great photos, including how to get the right exposure, correct coloring, lighting and composition.
Jeffery says attendees can bring any camera they would like, even smartphones, but that he will primarily be using a digital single lens reflex camera. He does ask for those who plan to use their smartphones to download the VSCO app ahead of time.
The public is invited to attend this free event, and it will take place in WBC’s Mabee Student Center. To register, visit https://goo.gl/pqTJTt, or contact the Office of Admissions at 870-759-4120..
Williams is a Christian, four-year college located in Walnut Ridge. It will formally become Williams Baptist University in July.
