 Lawrence County CID has announced that Gary Fears, age 57  was arrested following a fatal shooting at a residence on Highway 91.  Sargent Jamie White stated the shooting was a result of a dispute between a home  owner and a roommate.  As deputies were responding to the call the received a second call stating that a female had been shot in the residence and the suspect was still armed inside the residence.
Fears was taken into custody by Lawrence County deputies without incident. Â Deputies found the body of Angel Blackshear inside the residence with a fatal gunshot wound. Â Lawrence County criminal investigation division and the Arkansas State Police are investigating the incident. Fears was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County jail and is charged with second degree murder.
