Shortly after 1:30 on Thursday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a call from a property owner stating his tractor and field were on fire. Black Rock Fire Department responded to find approximately 20 acres and a tractor in flames.
The property was located at 50 Lawrence 221, the tractor operator stated his bush hog hit a rock causing a spark in dry conditions catching the field and tractor on fire.
Imboden Fire Department was requested for additional water and manpower along with the Arkansas Forestry. The fire was contained after about an hour.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
