Summer turns to autumn, green leaves to rusted reds, and the ghosts of the past stir from their resting places once more. This October, the Ghosts of Davidsonville have heard the beat, found the rhythm, and are bringing the 50’s back in fine style with a little help from some friends. The staff of Davidsonville Historic State Park is proud to announce that the 2017 Ghost of Davidsonville Fall Festival will feature live entertainment from Rockin’ Luke Stroud.
Rockin’ Luke Stroud of Cave City has spent more than 20 years performing for audiences at festivals as well as countless public and private events across the state and region, including legendary Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. For these shows — whether by himself or with his band — he brings his style of 1950s rock ‘n’ roll and country and Western made popular by the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Hank Williams Sr. and Mickey Gilley.
The Ghost of Davidsonville Fall Festival begins at 5:00p.m. October the 14th and continues till the last haunted hayride departs that evening around 9:00p.m. Planned activities, games, food, prices and more information about the haunted hayride will be released in coming weeks. Mark your calendars now, and help the ghosts of the past groove their way through another rendition of this Northeast Arkansas tradition.
