Shortly after 4 pm on Sunday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle wreck with injuries. Imboden Volunteer Fire along with AET Ambulance and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the scene.

The caller advised the accident was on Lawrence 128 and one person had possibly been ejected through the passenger side window. A medical helicopter from Survival Flight was requested to respond to the area. 1st responders arrived along with medics, the driver was transported by ambulance to a Batesville hospital, the female passenger was transported to a landing zone set up by the Imboden Fire Department and flown to a Batesville hospital for treatment of injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, names of those injured have not been released (both are minors).

Dail’s Wrecker Service of Imboden removed the wrecked vehicle.
