Imboden Firefighters received a page at 12:40 am from the Lawrence County Dispatch Center after receiving a message from Randolph County reporting a fully involved structure fire at 484 Rush Lane in the Imboden Fire District located in Randolph County.

At 12:44 am Imboden Engine 6 and Rescue 4 checked in route to the scene. Imboden immediately requested mutual aide from the Pocahontas Fire Department. Imboden units checked on scene at 12:51 am and reported a well involved mobile home. Several vehicles were at the residence which caused concern for firefighters, Randolph County Dispatch told Lawrence County Dispatch the original 911 caller had kicked in the door at looked through the structure for people inside, the residents had exited the home.

Pocahontas Fire Department brought additional manpower and a 1000 gallon tanker to help firefighters extinguish the blaze. AET Ambulance of Imboden responded and staged a unit at the scene in case of injuries.

At the time of this posting (1:12 am) firefighters were still on scene, no injuries had been reported and the cause of the fire was unknown. Units eventually cleared the scene at 2:45 am. Fire Chief Jim Jones stated the American Red Cross had been notified to assist the family.
