Representatives of Lawrence County were notified today that Lawrence County Judge Deale Freeman has passed away. Freeman had been in a Little Rock hospital after suffering injuries in an automobile accident on August 10th.
Judge Freeman was recovering and expected to be moved to a Paragould facility for rehabilitation as early as next week according to reports released by his family.
The Arkansas Association of Counties informed other elected officials from Lawrence County of his passing this afternoon.
We will post arrangements of his funeral as soon as they are made public by the family.
