At 7:08 pm on Tuesday evening the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a 35 year old male victim ran over by a bush hog on Lawrence 316. AET Ambulance and Lynn Volunteer Fire Department were both paged to the accident.
Firefighters requested a medical helicopter be dispatched toward the area as firefighters raced to the scene. Lawrence County Dispatch reached Air Evac and notified them of the situation, the medical helicopter had a 27 minute estimated time of arrival.
Responders from Lynn arrived on scene and discovered the victim in a field just behind the residence, it was reported from the scene that the injuries were fatal and the Lawrence County Coroner was requested along with Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies to the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of the family. The accident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
