On Monday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a request from the Bono Fire Department for assistance on an unattended mobile home fire on Hwy 63 north of Bono.

The Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department was initially paged for assistance and firefighters were in route within minutes to assist. Shortly after the Walnut Ridge Fire Department was also requested to the scene for assistance.

The mobile home was said to be unoccupied and uninhabited for several years making the fire suspicious in nature.

Reports stated the structure was completely engulfed when Bono arrived on scene.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, the investigation continues into this fire.
