Arkansas State Police are releasing information in the accident involving Lawrence County Judge Dale Freeman near Cabot early Wednesday morning.
According to a release, at 5:15 am rescue was called to a single vehicle crash at mile marker 19 on Hwy 67. Arkansas State Police arrived to find a Toyota pickup truck overturned at the scene with a male subject later identified as Lawrence County Judge Dale Freeman trapped inside. Emergency Responders freed Freeman from the vehicle and he was then airlifted to a Little Rock hospital.
Sheriff Jeff Yates told media today that once Judge Freeman was taken to the hospital he underwent a surgery and may be facing a possible second surgery on Thursday.
According to reports Judge Freeman is in stable but serious condition.
The accident is under investigation by the Arkansas State Police, no other injuries were reported in the accident.
