At 4:50 p the Lawrence County Dispatch center received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle accident on Hwy 25 near Powhatan.
Black Rock Volunteer Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene at 4:50 pm.
Deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene first and reported all occupants of the vehicle were out and advised that no one was injured.
Black Rock Volunteer Fire Department assisted with traffic control until the vehicle could be removed.
The accident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. Black Rock Firefighters were on scene keeping one lane of traffic flowing for over and hour before returning to service.
