Shortly before midnight on Sunday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a disturbance on North Anderson in Ravenden, Chief Tim McComas of the Ravenden Police Department reported that he received a call reporting a possible wreck at that location with possibly an intoxicated suspect.

 

Chief McComas and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies rushed toward the address. Chief McComas arrived on scene first and reported the suspect was still in the vehicle and armed. Chief McComas advised Lawrence County Dispatch that the subject had fired off one round while still in the vehicle. A short armed standoff with the suspect took place. Arkansas State Police and additional county units were also dispatched to the scene.

 

An ambulance was staged at the Velero station in Ravenden. Chief McComas advised at 12:03 am that he had the suspect in custody. Reports from the scene indicated no injuries, Dail’s Wrecker Service was requested to remove the suspect’s vehicle.

 

The suspect identified as David Bradley was arrested and taken to Lawrence County Jail.
