Upcoming Park Events
June 18th-30th

Davidsonville Historic State Park invites you to join us for any and all of the upcoming park events.

Gourd Workshop
June 18, 2016 – 9 a.m. to Noon
Gourds have been used for centuries for a variety of purposes. Join the park interpreter and learn how to shape and decorate these unusual plants and create things like bird houses and bowls to take home. Please dress appropriately as some materials may stain. Must be 18 years or older. Space is limited and early registration is required. Contact the park at 870-892-4708 to be placed on the waiting list. Admission: $20 per person

Lyrical Lessons: Music in the Time of Davidsonville
June 25, 2016 – 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There’s nothing quite like a cold drink and the sounds of music on a warm summer’s evening. Join the park interpreter outside the new visitor center for an exploration of some of the many ways music helped shape life during the time of Davidsonville. Lawn chairs, sunscreen, and water are recommended to help beat the summer heat. In case of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside the new visitor center. RSVP appreciated but not required. Admission: Free
