On Sunday the JACS Team was hard at work here in Imboden when they refreshed the paint on Welcome to Imboden sign.
J.A.C.S. stands for junior advocates of community service.
JACS Â is a group of girls that came together through girl scouts (currently it consist of 5 girls from Imboden and 3 from Walnut Ridge)
JACS spend many hours volunteering to serve the community. Everything from picking up trash at the park and cleaning hiking trails to singing to the elderly in nursing homes and collecting supplies for the children’s shelter.
The next JACS project is hosting a benefit 5k walk/run. The girls have also been working to go on an educational trip together and will do that in July.
